December is our busiest month at Toonie Moonie. The team at Toonie prepares for a boost in production, longer days, and fewer days off. So much marshmallow was made this month! I am so appreciative of the team we have built. They truly care about the product and work incredibly hard to produce the most scrumptious marshmallow creme around.
As December comes to an end, I am focused on taking a couple of days to rest. The world can be so busy, and I’ve learned to listen to my instincts to slow down. The holidays were spent in Fly Creek with family. It was Sebastian’s (my grandson's) first Christmas! There was lots of delicious food, plenty of laughs, and many special memories created. I am so grateful.
Looking ahead... things will be a bit different in the New Year, of course. My son, Andrew, has flown the coop (at least for a few months) and headed south. I have also lost a very beloved member of my pack—Mungo, a boxer-pit mix. For those of you who don’t know, I have a menagerie of rescued animals, including several dogs. Living with animals brings me such peace, happiness, and balance. Mungo was a character, and people were always captivated by his quirky charm. He will be missed and remembered always with respect and love.
2025 will be a big year for Toonie Moonie. We will be part of some wonderful products—as an ingredient! Did you know that Toonie Moonie marshmallow creme is used in many creations across the country? I love that. Think fudge, chocolates, doughnuts, cakes, whoopee pies, ice cream, beer (yes, beer), crispy treats, bars... the list is practically endless. Additionally, we will have our largest launch to date in 2025 with a large chain of stores. And... our vegan marshmallow creme will launch in 2025! I am so excited about this!
